MOSCOW, Aug 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s VTB has sold its Mariysky refinery in the Mari El republic for 4.2 billion rubles, the company said in a report on Tuesday.
“The net negative assets of the refinery stood at 7.7 billion rubles as of the date of disposal. The sales revenue was 11.9 billion rubles and was written down as an after-tax profit from affiliates bought solely for the purposes of resale,” VTB said.
Deputy CEO Herbert Moos said that the deal did not affect the financial performance of the bank significantly in April–June.
According to an earlier statement, the refinery was sold to a company affiliated with Chairman of the board of directors of the Antipinsky refinery Dmitry Mazurov in May.
